Occupational Therapy Intervention

We have limited spots for ongoing therapy support. We provide OT intervention to support children to meet developmental milestones, become more independent, and engage in activities that are important to them. We provide therapy to address the below areas and more:

  • Fine motor skills
  • Upper limb function
  • Sensory needs
  • Emotional regulation
  • Cognitive skills
  • Play skills
  • School readiness skills including pre-writing skills, cutting skills, attention skills and more
  • Self-care skills including mealtimes, sleep, toileting, dressing, showering and more
  • Puberty awareness and management
  • Community safety and other protective behaviours

Assistive Technology Prescription

We have extensive experience in the prescription of paediatric assistive technology. We may be able to assist with the prescription of wheelchairs, commodes, hoists, electric beds, activity chairs, specialised car seats and more.

Occupational Therapy Assessments

We offer a range of occupational therapy assessments. See our assessment packages below. We also have availability for other OT assessments on request. 

Autism Diagnostic Assessment

We partner with a Speech Pathology service to provide the allied health component of an autism diagnostic assessment. We assess children aged 3-16 years of age.

 

 

 

Developmental Assessment

 

This assessment is suitable for children with developmental concerns aged 0-8 years old. It includes administration of two standardised assessment tools to identify how your child is tracking compared to similar-aged children.

Sensory Profile Assessment

 

This assessment will enable you to identify your child’s sensory preferences and will provide you with strategies to trial to support their sensory needs during their everyday tasks.

 

 

 

Functional Capacity Assessment

This comprehensive assessment provides in-depth information about your child’s level of independence and support needs. This assessment is recognised by the NDIS to support funding requests.
